Visit to the handicapped center(PROMHANDICAM)
Context and Justification
The foundation was built on certain principles among the many principles is working towards helping the street children and the handicap. These are areas where the society gives less attention to. Trinity foundation in line with the objectives of the funding members decided to give back to their society by organising a visit to an handicap centre promhandicam Yaoundé. this visit among other things had as objective to discuss with the handicap and to make them have the feeling that they are part of the society. To this effect trinity had to partner with a musical group dubbed G4. A series of activities were organised to keep the handicap company, quizzes were equally carried out and at the end the best handicapped were offered prizes. The CEO of trinity equally presented the up for school campaign in which he explained that this initiative came up to remind world leaders and Governments to keep their promise made at the United Nations in 2000, to ensure that all out-of-school children gain their right to education before the end of 2015.He pleaded on the parents and the guardians of these handicapped to help spread the message where ever they might be especially when they come across any educational stakeholders..
The objective of this visit was to commune with the handicapped, put smiles on their faces and to give them a sense of belonging.
Execution Period and Place
This activity was carried out on 12th of June, 2015 the day put aside by the UN to fight against child labour. This activity took place at promhandicam in Yaoundé.
About 300 handicapped participated in the activities.
Execution of Activities
There were interactive lectures, musical display by well renowned gospel artist, quizzes and question and answer sessions.
Conclusion and Perspective
The event ended well and the participants came out with smiles on their faces.it was jointly agreed that each and every one was going to put hands on deck to make sure that the handicapped world-wide are given the best
